Alright my fellow followers and readers, it has been quite some time since I wrote on here and I will explain more about what has been going on. For those of you who have been keeping up with my posts for Thursdays, you know what this day entails. I live near a bar that turns into a college bar on Thursdays here in Miami, the volume is high but it is all college girls.
The area has destroyed and manhandled almost all of the wings I have had. Every wing comes in proud but then as the night starts, they get swallowed alive by the quicksand of the crowd and destroyed by the amount of sets where the woman get taken away by their friends. I thought I was going to go about it solo but things changed.
In a Game Chat I used to be active on, I was posting about the venues. I initially wanted to keep it a secret, something me and Andy planned to do, but Andy started to ghost me and was clearly not cut out to game in this area. I then started to post about it on the chat and one guy DM’d me about joining so now I had a reason to go.
An adjustment.
I decided to apply an adjustment to my night out, I call it “the chip”. For anyone that follows American football, a chip block is used to disrupt a defensive end that is running at the Quarterback. It is almost used to re-route an aggressive defensive end.
As I thought back to what was going on with me mentally, I would go straight from my place to the area. Well, this meant that the area became an aggressive defensive end that had that B-line right to me and I got rattled as a result. I was doing game like a Quarterback under immense pressure. So instead of going straight to Barracuda, I went to Regatta.
Regatta.
Unlike Friday nights, Regatta was fairly empty on Thursdays. You had some couples but for the most part almost no sets. I ended up going to get a few drinks and observing the environment. In the meantime, I made small talk with a sexy Colombian bartender. The one thing I love about Regatta is that even though you deal with a lot of cliques and an overall rude crowd, the staff and people that work there are pretty cool.
Out to Barracuda.
As midnight neared, I headed out to Barracuda. I did maybe one set complimenting the girls on their shoes and then I ended up waiting for the wing from the Game Chat who we will call Dave. I tried to look for Dave in line and finally found him, convincing him that it is not worth it to go inside.
Dave was this tall Asian guy with a slight accent and we went ahead and explored the area. What I loved about Dave was that right from the jump, he opened a few sets. To my surprise, the girls tonight were really nice.
Start of game.
I ended up opening a few sets and the girls were quite receptive. Once again, I am not sure what the magic was about tonight but they were way nicer than usual. I ended up approaching a few sets and number closing. A memorable set I did early was when I hit on this Middle Eastern college girl from LA and her friend and ended up sexualizing the conversation. I even proposed coming to my place within two minutes, super soon, but I was jumpy given the start. I number closed but that was it.
I got a couple more numbers and had a few great sets. Somehow, hanging out with Dave calmed my nerves along with going to Regatta beforehand. The usual anxiety I have being in this area just went away for this night.
Results.
I got three numbers but none of them really responded. The big takeaway for me here is that I had a big moral victory which was a great outcome for this area which has slayed one wing after another. I feel like if I had tried more this night, I could have had a close. Perhaps I could have stuck in the sets for longer than usual.
The big takeaway was that I had a positive vibe to me and was more at ease. I did not find these college girls unattainable despite being an older guy in his 30s because Dave made it an easy transition. Past wings I had either did very little or they ended up being paranoid about age.
This night was a great night for moral victories in an area where moral victories were needed.
